Trademarks (Amendment) Rules 2013 and Provisions relating to International Registration of Trademarks under the Madrid Protocol have been brought into force in India since 8th July 2013 by Trade Marks Office notification dated 5th July 2013 and 8thJuly 2013 respectively. Thus, now one can file a single Trademark Application for Registration in many Countries.
